How my Upcycled Garden is progressing:

Well I wanted to show everyone how my garden has developed over the last two weeks since it was made.  I have been watering it every few days and ensuring that it has adequate access to sunlight and as a result it has been growing! One of my shoes now has a petunia flower so I have been successful in creating, producing and sustaining a garden and its growth! The rest of the smaller garden beds in the pan, tea pot, muffin tray and fish tank have also continued to grow. Check out the photos below of how all of the plants have been developing.

In addition, the herbs in the fish tank have grown enough now that I can begin to use them in my cooking, without taking too much and stunting their growth.  I cooked a frittata this week using eggs, tomato, feta cheese, spinach and the chives and parsley from my fish tank garden.  It was very satisfying to use my herbs from 'garden to plate' as it gave a sense of accomplishment that I had created the garden bed, planted herbs within it, watched them grow and then used them in my food as I was able to watch the whole cycle take place.
